Mario Canales

Welcome!

I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student at UCLA Anderson. 

My research interests lie in the fields of macroeconomics, international trade, and labor economics, particularly in understanding the role of firms for economic growth, and their interaction with labor markets.

Before starting the Ph.D., I worked at the Central Bank of Chile as a Junior Economist in the Economic Research Division.
